Nuwe Stilbaai Sakekamer bestuurskomitee aangestel

Die jaar is reeds in volle swang en ons het ‘n bedrywige jaar wat voorlê. Die Stilbaai Sakekamer het op 28 Maart hulle eerste vergadering met die nuwe bestuurspan gehou. Die Stilbaai Sakekamer bestuurskomitee bestaan uit die volgende lede:

  • Rean Pretorius (Voorsitter)
  • Philip Pansegrouw (Onder-voorsitter)
  • Marthinus Strydom
  • Johannes van Zyl (Tesourier)
  • Louise Christie
  • Johan Kriel (Sekretaris)
  • Didi Serfontein
  • Willie Delport
  • Hanru Liebenberg

Graag verwelkom ons die nuwe span; ek weet dat ons hierdie jaar baie gaan bereik.

Daar gebeur hierdie jaar baie opwindende dinge om besighede in Stilbaai by te staan. Die moeilike ekonomiese klimaat bied aan ons almal ‘n uitdaging, maar as ons slim te werk gaan, kan ons maksimum voordeel trek uit al die geleenthede tot ons beskikking.

Die Sakekamer gaan hierdie jaar fokus op:

Besigheidsontwikkeling, opleiding en bystand. Ons sal ons toespits daarop om besighede by te staan met tegnologie, bemarking, besigheidsvaardigheidopleiding en leierskap.

Bemarkingsgeleenthede. Ons sal fokus daarop om nuwe en innoverende maniere te skep vir besighede om hulself te bemark. Ons sal ook kyk na maniere om besighede te help om te groei en groter inkomste te genereer.

Netwerke. Ons gaan netwerk geleenthede daarstel vir besighede in Stilbaai, Jongensfontein en Melkhoutfontein. Ons moet as gemeenskap mekaar ondersteun en al die saamwerkgeleenthede benut.

Bestuurs en munisipale verhoudinge. Ons spits ons daarop toe om ‘n volhoubare en regverdige verhouding tussen besighede en die Hessequa Munisipaliteit te skep. Ons is hier om die belange van ons lede te beskerm; derhalwe sal ons kyk na kostes en bestuursprosesse.

As u nog nie ‘n lid van die Sakekamer is nie, moedig ek u aan om aan te sluit, sodat u ook kan baatvind by die waarde wat die Sakekamer aan u besigheid kan toevoeg. Jy kan by ons webwerf elektronies aansluit.

Business Chamber management committee appointed

The Stilbaai Business Chamber is happy to announce that the new Management Committee has been appointed and the first Chamber meeting has been held.

The Stilbaai Business Chamber management committee consists of the following members:

  • Johannes van Zyl (Treasurer)
  • Louise Christie
  • Johan Kriel (Secretary)
  • Didi Serfontein
  • Willie Delport
  • Hanru Liebenberg

We have many exciting things happening this year to assist businesses in Stilbaai. The tough economic climate is a challenge for everyone but if we work smart we will be able to maximize on all the opportunities that are available to us.

This year the Business Chamber is going to focus on:

Business development, training and support. We will focus on assisting businesses with technology, marketing, business skills development and leadership.

Marketing opportunities. We will be focusing on creating new and innovative ways for businesses to promote themselves. We will be looking at ways to assist businesses to grow and generate more revenue.

Networking. We will focus on creating networking opportunities for businesses in Stilbaai, Jongensfontein and Melkhoutfontein. As a community we need to support each other and leverage all the opportunities that working together can bring.

Governance and municipal relations. Our focus will be on creating a sustainable and fair partnership between business and the Hessequa Municipality. We are here to protect the interest of our members and to this end will will be looking at costs and governance processes.
